Oakland Roots SC are set to host Memphis 901 FC in the Club’s 2023 USL Championship Home Opener at Laney College. The game is set for a 7:00 PM PT kick-off on Saturday, March 25th as Memphis heads to Oakland for the first time.
“The announcement of the Home Opener is incredibly exciting for everyone here in Oakland,” said Oakland Roots Head Coach Noah Delgado. “Laney is our fortress and that first game on March 25th will set the tone for the season about how hard it will be for the other teams when they come to play at Laney.”
The full 2023 Oakland Roots Season schedule will be released soon. Oakland Roots will open the season away at the defending Champions, San Antonio FC, on March 11th for their respective Home Opener. Oakland Roots will get the chance for revenge against the team who knocked them out of the 2022 playoffs.
