The Oakland Roots SC Manager, Stadium Operations and Special Events, is responsible for helping stakeholders plan and game day presentations, stadium operations, and key special events. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the COO.
Determining the scheduling of different phases of a project based on established deadlines and resolving scheduling conflicts that arise due to scheduled events, pop-up events, emergencies and other issues that may cause delays.
Working in partnership with stakeholders to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule.
Negotiating with contractors and vendors, the securing of required permits, licenses and delivery of materials and equipment.
Developing a purchasing schedule and strategy to anticipate, address and resolve purchasing challenges.
Collaborating with stakeholders in set up of projects to insure profitability, client satisfaction and the best subcontractors for the job.
Collaborate interdepartmentally on Game Presentation, Run of Show, Partnership Fulfillment needs
Thorough completion of all financial data with an eye to identify potential/existing issues.
Manage project budget
Maintaining and developing relationships to reinforce a commitment to excellent customer service across the board: including co-workers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the design community. Communicate with field team members as well as keep them active in decision-making

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge Gantt Charts, Task Management Software is preferred
Ability to work with employees, customers and management on multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in delivering exceptional service catered to our clients specific goals and vision
Strong analytical skills to solve problems that may come up during a typical workday in analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis
Ability to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
